Product Description: The Ribes nigrum is a woody shrub in the Grossulariaceae family grown for its piquant berries. It is native to temperate parts of central and northern Europe and northern Asia where it prefers damp fertile soils. It has a solitary, one-flowered peduncle at the base of the raceme and it’s leaves are dotted underneath. The Currant Seed Carrier Oil is believed to be very rich in antioxidants and gamma-linolenic acid.
