Product Description: Babassu is a palm tree that is native to the northeastern part of Brazil. This palm is the source of Orbignya oleifera. It is a superior emollient for dry and oily skin and can be used in many skin-care products such as soaps, creams, milk, lip balms, and hair-care products.

Storage: It is recommended that cold-pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using. Babassu Carrier Oil is slow to become rancid; users can expect a shelf life of 2 years with proper Storage (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
