Product Description: Mitti attar is a traditional aromatic essence of baked earth obtained by hydrodistillation (traditional deg bhapka process) of baked clay and the process takes almost a month. This method is said to be almost 5000 years old. Some reports suggest this is the same process that was used during the Indus Valley Civilization around 3000 BC. It was created to capture the aroma of the first rains of the monsoon season, falling upon the dry, parched Earth.
